We were contracted by our client, Chartway Group, to provide the Mechanical Installations to a 55 unit new build older persons apartment block in Rochester, Kent.

The building is replacing an existing building that had come to the end of its useful life for serving the same purpose.

A new energy centre on site will provide heating and hot water to all apartments and the residents lounge area, along with communal accessible shower facilities that are being provided.

The space on site is not large, thus the decision was taken to install a large buried cold water tank room that contains all required water storage and plant to provide boosted water to the development.

The external areas are being landscaped to provide communal gardens for the new residents to enjoy.
